Schedule of Events (to be updated in November)
   The MSS has a full schedule of events for members during the year, as well as assisting many local churches that wish to hold a Kirkin' o' the Tartans.
   For example, the MSS has loaned tartans and staffs for Kirkins at many churches, including the Trinity Presbyterian in Hendersonville, NC, First Presbyterian in Hartsville, SC, and Church of the Hills (Presbyterian USA) in Duluth, GA. Many churches have gone on to purchase their own staffs and tartans to conduct annual Kirkins of the tartan. We are pleased to provide information on how to conduct your own Kirkin (blessing of the tartans in church). Below are some of the activities of the Society (click on links for more information about the event).

• Fall Golf Scottish Classic & Social for the Montreat Scottish Society; 
  Saturday, Sept. 16th, tee off between 1:00 - 1:40 pm, with Social at 
  7 pm.

The annual meeting consists of a buffet luncheon (below), election of officers and board, entertainment and other business. The meeting is open to all members and families. It is held Memorial weekend each year in Montreat.
